Privacy Policy

1No account, no personal data collection

Snaply does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information — such as your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers — to us or to any server operated by us. The developer operates no backend server that receives user data from the App.

The only request the App makes to our own website is an automatic check for app updates (a small version file hosted at snaply-1kj.pages.dev). Like any web request, this may expose your IP address to the website hosting provider (Cloudflare) for the purpose of delivering the file; we do not use it to identify or track you.

2Information processed on your device

To perform the download you request, the App processes the link (URL) that you share with Snaply or open in it. This processing happens in order to fetch the media from the third-party platform that hosts it. Media files you download are saved only on your own device (videos in the Movies folder, music in the Music folder) and remain under your control. Your download history and app settings stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.

3Permissions the App uses

• Internet & network state — to fetch and download the media you request, and to check for app updates.
• Notifications — to show download progress and completion.
• Foreground service & wake lock — so a download you started can continue reliably in the background.
• Run at startup — used only to restore scheduled update checks.
• Install packages — used only when you choose to install a Snaply update that the App has downloaded from our official website.

The App does not request access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, camera, microphone, or location.

4Third-party platforms and services

Snaply works by communicating directly with third-party platforms (for example YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud and Bandcamp) to retrieve the media for the link you provide. Those platforms receive your request (including your IP address) and handle it under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

5Data sharing

Because we do not collect your personal information, we do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with anyone.

6Children's privacy

Snaply is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7Your responsibility for content

Please use Snaply only to download content that you own or that you have permission to download, and respect the terms of service and copyright of the platforms and creators involved.

8Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
